The Gilmore-Bykovskyi lab’s new program, ARCOM, is funded by the Alzheimer’s Association and aims to address significant gaps in dementia care and outcome measurement and to guide implementation and evaluation of evidence-based practices via measurement that captures and is sensitive to meaningful care processes and outcomes. Currently, there are no measurement tools designed for and accessible to people living with dementia that capture meaningful indicators of their ED care experience. We are focused on addressing this gap. This project will work with patients and caregivers in the form of interviews and conversations in order to develop these tools for future clinical use.
