The SUPPORT study team partnered with hospitals and community organizations in the greater Detroit area to better understand hospitalization and rehospitalization experiences for adults with dementia as well as caregiver, hospital, and community organization perspectives on supporting adults with dementia during these often-stressful periods. In collaboration with Detroit-based partners, the SUPPORT study team has published a report that can be found here. The report highlights major themes in hospitalization and rehospitalization for people with dementia through the eyes of caregivers and providers and provides data on trends in hospital visits for people with dementia in the area.
